Ben & Le-Hua in Melbourne (con’t)…
Ok, this is a little overdue. Have been busy with all the backlogs and all the meetings of clients. Since I got back from Melbourne, I’ve met no less than 16 couples (that’s almost 1 couple) every 2 days!
And I know, if I continue to procrastinate, I’ll probably be holding it till I’m back from Adelaide – yes, I’m flying to Down Under again for 2 weeks, this time round, my family is coming along.
Anyway, here are some of the highlights that I like a lot:
Ben & Le-Hua in Melbourne
Just returned from another fruitful overseas shoot in Melbourne. Apart from the lovely weather, coffee, food and setting, we are really blessed with beautiful lighting there that makes it a photographer’s haven.
I had the priviledge of covering Ben & Le-Hua’s wedding on the 25 April 2008, which happened to be Anzac Day, a public holiday that commemorates the fallen soliders in the two World Wars. We had a short engagement session outdoor on 24 April 2008 and like all photoshoots, original plans that have been meticulously worked out always give way to spontaneous ideas – one of the destinations was the Royal Botanical gardens and we ended up getting some pictures on the opposite side where the Shrine of Remembrance is, all thanks to the ceremony that was held there the eve of Anzac day.
Here are some of my favourites:
I was thinking of Peter Pan when I did this image:
More pictures from the wedding day on 25 April 2008 coming right up 🙂
Off to Melbourne (again)
I just hate packing my luggage before any trip because of this perpetual feeling of inadequacy – have I missed something?
The last trip to Melbourne almost got me into frenzy at the airport when I realised I didn’t apply for visa, but thankfully, the visa that I applied 3 months earlier was still valid…
Think what I’ll miss most would be my folks at home, especially the 2 boys. Guess I’ll be looking at these photos when I’m there…
Had a picnic at Pasir Ris park yesterday morning and took these photos of the kids:
