Alex & Heline – 26 July 2008
One series from last weekend’s series to share. This is one simple and very beautiful wedding, and we’ve got a very sweet couple with over 90% of guests from overseas.
The highlights slideshow can be viewed here
Alex & Heline, once again, thank you so much for the opportunity, enjoyed myself greatly documenting your wedding. Enjoy your honeymoon!
Timothy & Cindy
Okie, this one’s a little overdue, but decided to post it anyway because it exemplifies the fact that you don’t need a lavish/big scale/mammoth wedding to come out with a good series of wedding pictures.
Even the simple gestures like the groom checking out his bouquet, the bride looking at the married certificate that they just signed; these are fantastic moments that are unique and I’m so glad to have been able to capture them.
The Distinguished WPJA SILVER AWARD!
Yet another great piece of news following last month’s achievements in Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA )and Artistic Guild WPJA. I’m very happy to be the first Singaporean to receive the distinguished WPJA Silver award, which is given to members after they won a certain number of entries in the WPJA competitions. Check it out here!
There aren’t many people who’ve earned it, most of them are from USA who have already been with WPJA for a few years to accumulate these points; currently only 2 photographers in Asia Pacific who have earned the Silver Award.
Here’s the screen shot of the Q1 2008 WPJA & AGWPJA results:
Next target, WPJA Gold Award! (which means I gotta work extra hard to earn it, now that competition is getting so much tougher)
James & Yenling – 25 June 2008
A recent wedding to share. Though James & Yenling had a very simple wedding on a weekday, we had one of the most ra-ra crowd ever. Dinner was pretty much a walk about event, people were half their time on their feet, going around the tables to mingle, chat and of course, the booze.
Some pictures from the series that I like a lot:
This one’s damn funny. Poor pig!
And even after several bottles of wine, the couple was still very sober!
Kyan’s Baptism
After 3 (as far as I can remember) postponements, the 1-year-old baby of our family finally got baptised in Church of the Sacred Heart today. Compared to his elder brother’s baptism, Kyan’s had a much simpler ceremony because there were only 2 kids being baptised for the month.
Some pictures taken during the ceremony:
I just love the way he stared at Fr Paul Tay

Fortunately & unfortunately, he didn’t get himself dunked into water like his older brother did.

Getting quite restless…

Getting *very* restless
